All the countries we offer trips to have reopened their borders to foreign tourists. Proof of 3 doses of vaccination against COVID is still required by some but mandatory nucleic acid or PCR testing before or after arrival is being phased out. Quarantine on arrival is not required by any of the countries. Guests going on our tours will receive up-to-date information on entry requirements as well as any assistance where applicable.
CHINA

JAPAN
- Current Entry Requirements
- Visa exemption arrangements have been resumed as of October 11, 2022 – find out if your country is on the list visa exemption countries.
- “…, all returnees and entrants are required to provide either a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate (3 doses) of vaccines on the Emergency Use List of World Health Organization (WHO) or a certificate of negative result of pre-departure COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to departing from the original country/region”.
SOUTH KOREA
- Current Entry Requirements – Canadian & U.S. citizens do not need a visa
- Completion of Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) is mandatory. There is a fee of 10,000 KRW (US$8/CA$11) applicable.
- Using the Q-code system to upload your health condition before your entry to Korea for a faster quarantine inspection. It can be done online in 15 minutes.
