Climatic patterns in the destination countries are extremely diverse, ranging from tropical in the south to sub-arctic in the north, from the wettest spot on Earth to arid deserts.
The question of when is the best time to visit Asia has to be country and region specific. Generally, China, Japan and Korea are best enjoyed in April, May, September and October while Mongolia, Tibet, and the Silk Road region have the most agreeable weather in June, July and August, although the second half of August in Mongolia could be rainy.
If you plan to travel in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, in our case), you should come between October and late March. For those afraid of intense heat, October, November and March may be too hot. For example, temperatures in Saigon and Siem Reap in those months frequently go over 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) during daytime. And the high humidity adds to the discomfort in a big way.
In the case of India, the country can be visited all-year around considering the diverse climatic patterns of different regions. However, if this is your first trip to India and you only want to cover the most popular highlights (Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh etc), you should go between November and March when it is cool and dry. A trip including Kerala and Tamil Nandu is better done between January and March. If you are interested in hiking the Himalayas, then April, May, August and September would be the best months.
