Subject: Best of Japan Oct 20 – Nov 2
The Best of Japan Tour in October was absolutely fantastic. Having never travelled with an organized tour we were unsure if we would enjoy it. I can say it was amazing! Our tour guide, Katy was full of energy, knowledgeable and organized. The small size of the tour (just 16) made it so personable. The accommodations were all superb. I especially enjoyed the variety of Japanese foods that we experienced, from sushi making class, dinner with a Maiko (Geisha in training) to Hoba Yaki, Shabu Shabu, Wagu Beef, etc… I could go on and on. The variety of food experiences was outstanding.
I really appreciated how well thought out our experience was. Every detail was taken care of. I especially appreciated how Katy prepared us for time on our own. The day before our “free” day, she made sure everyone knew how to use the subway system. And when we returned to Tokyo she gave clear directions and showed us how to get tickets for the Low Cost Bus to Narita Airport. The attention to little details like that made everyone’s experience a positive one.
I can’t wait for another Laurus Travel Tour!
